Each fall, between September and November, Disney celebrates the diverse culinary traditions around the world at the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, which takes place in Epcot -inside Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando .Since the first one in 1995, visitors from all around the world enjoy a fantastic series of special events. Culinary and beverage demonstrations, celebrity chefs, amazing visitors with their food traditions, and the ever-popular World Showcase Marketplace tasting booths are only a few examples.
In the 20th anniversary, several premium tasting events and menu items from the Dominican Republic will be included for the first time!
All throughout these 20 delicious years, the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival has amassed thousands of loyal fans that plan to attend this event to taste their way around the world.
Tips to enjoy the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival
You should definitely get the Food & Wine Festival Tasting Sampler.
First of all, it is cost efficient. It allows you to control your available budget (you can also know when you reach it). It includes 8 offered dishes and beverages of mostly your choice (wow, they are good!). Front row seats at their “Eat to the beat” music concerts , (we saw Smash Mouth) and you also get a limited festival trading pin!
Packages costs $59 per guest plus tax (gratuity included.)
Keep in mind that the admission to Epcot is required and not included in the event price.
Remember, there are limited number of packages available each day, so you need to get it early.
You can bring your kids and they will enjoy as well!
There are plenty of fun activities for them within the World Showcase and the Kidcot Stops, where they can travel between pavilions and collect stamps and pins.
You have to pick up the vouchers from the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival Center
You first need to check in at the Festival Centre, located in the Future World East, in order to recieve your credentials. You need to go early, the day of your reservation, because credentials may not be picked up in advance. You will only be able to pick up on the day of the package you chose is booked for.
